At the end of October, 2008, Paulcy Cange and Dr. Allison were joined by George McConnell, Joanne Greer, and David DiCanio in Liberia. They held a special
service on Sunday recognizing the third
mission church in Liberia. Sackie Mulbah,
the pastor of the new work, has been extremely ill over the last year but was
present in the meeting. There were representatives of five churches at the meeting
and the building was filled to capacity. It
was a great time of rejoicing in the Lord's goodness to the congregation. Mr.
McConnell led a delegation on a twelveto
fourteen-hour trip into Lofa County to establish a bookstore in that needy region.
The team was encouraged to take the trip by the vice president of Liberia, Joseph Boakai, who spent over half an hour with the mission team on October 30. Dr. Allison was able to finish the last chapters
(24–34) of the Confession during the
daily workshops. There was a time of great
